Thank You for Praying For Us - Cuba, November, 2012

Dear Friends and Family,

We want to take a moment to thank you for your prayers for us during our recent trip to Cuba.  We are safely at home and the Lord was with us every minute.

We were pleased to renew friendships and to be able to bless lives with items that are necessary for them to minister to believers and those in need of the gospel.  We went through the security lines at the airport without having our luggage searched.

Our hearts were thrilled to minister in a church that was so packed with people that they stood in the aisles for the entire service.  Each of the three Sunday services were filled to over flowing.  A village church was unaware of our plans to visit them one morning but when we arrived we met a group of women crying out to God.  We worshipped together and they prayed for us fervently and we prayed for them.  We were told that there would be 300 pastors and wives at the conference where our team taught.  Over 400 attended and were so appreciative of the teaching and of the financial gifts and jewelry that we were able to leave with them.  Pastors make less than $20.00 a month.  Life is difficult for them.  We know they are crying out to God for help and we cannot go without helping to be an answer to their prayers.

We have returned refreshed, renewed and blessed.  God truly anointed, protected and sustained us.  We could not go without your gifts, support and prayers.  Thank you so much!

As always we appreciate your involvement.   If you would like to give an offering toward upcoming trips to Mexico and Cuba and other countries where God may lead, please make your tax deductible checks payable to Acts 20:24 and you will receive a receipt from Allison Park Church.
